Each year, we bring our school community together for a whole-school production. Our productions are a series of original musicals, written by Marillan Jackson, a former teacher, and scored by Cathy Hutchinson, a former parent. Over the years, the scripts have evolved and been adapted to reflect changing times, contemporary themes and the experiences, values and interests of our school community.

The students perform alongside a live band each year, made up of parents, past students and teachers, making the productions a truly collaborative community effort.

Covering a range of themes, our productions are held at the end of Term 3, with four performances for families and the wider community to enjoy.

This much-loved tradition has been part of Mount Macedon Primary School for many years and remains an integral part of the school experience, creating lasting memories and celebrating the creativity, collaboration and spirit of our school community.
