
Enrolments
All Victorian schools are zoned for enrolments by the Department of Education.

In addition to local zoning requirements, Mount Macedon Primary School is classified as a Bushfire Category 1.
During the fire season, we frequently relocate to a nearby school as part of our emergency management plan to ensure the safety of all students and staff. More information can be found here.
Our school has an enrolment restriction under section 2.2.16 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic).
Our school will prioritise enrolments from students who live within the school zone and students with a sibling attending the school at the same time.
Depending on available places remaining, our school may be able to accept a limited number of out-of-zone enrolments according to next closest to the school.
The department will review this enrolment restriction yearly and provide updated advice as necessary.

Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school. Your school zone is determined based on your permanent residential address.
Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their local school. Students may enrol at another school if there are available places.

Other Year Level Enrolments
​We also accept enrolment applications for students in other year levels. You can submit a request at any time in the school year.
Eligible students who live within our school zone are guaranteed a place, while students outside the zone may be enrolled if there are available places.
